How eLoad Nutrition Generated $19.5k in organic traffic sales in 9 months!

Almost $20k Straight From Google!

The Challenge

eLoad Sport Nutrition is the #1 Sports nutrition brand preferred by endurance athletes since 2001. eLoad sports CEO, Josh, was interested in increasing their revenue streams through organic search. They were already ranking for quality keywords such as their sweat calculators but, wasn’t seeing sales from that traffic.

The Solution

We first dived deep into eLoad’s website analytics and design. We started with a site audit and content audit to understand why their content wasn’t converting. We also assessed all the keywords they were currently ranked for that had a good search volume and low competition. We focused in on the keywords that best represented their product line that they were trying to increase organic traffic to  as well as increase conversions from. Then, we got to work!

As always, we conducted a site wide audit to understand the traffic that was coming to eLoad’s site and where they were spending the most time at as well as where they were dropping off at in their sales funnel. We determined that eLoad did not have a strong enough sales funnel to truly capture a new customer continuously. We worked on an email strategy and funnel system first. 


While working on that within the first month, we started created new blog content (that was optimized) so that Google can index more pages on their site as well as study the traffic coming to the new posts. These blog posts were directly associated with products they sold so that we can track the page to page results later on. We then did a technical SEO audit test to make sure their mobile site was running efficiently as well as making sure there were no broken links. 


After we identified keywords that targeted their ideal customers, we conducted a competitor research analysis to see what keywords were attracting their dream clients to her competitor’s products. We also scoped out FB endurance athlete forums to understand the problems endurance athletes had when finding a good supplement or nutritional drink to aid in their sports activity. 


The research process took about 30 days and we optimized all product pages on their site. We made sure to add an FAQ question to each product line page that we found were asked a lot within the FB endurance athlete community. We changed some copy of the body of the page’s content to reflect the new title tags being optimized. We then remapped their home page’s navigational links to lead to the most important pages on her website. This will help with Google Link building results in search. We also created a site map for their website. 

The Result

Within 9 months working with eLoad on SEO, CRO, and content marketing, eLoad seen an overall 41.2% increase in conversion rates from organic search results that led to the new blog posts we created for them. A 27% increase in revenue vs the same period 9 months previously. They have also seen an increase in inbound link traffic from their blog posts to other pages. 5 blog posts still holds the number one search result, in 3 countries, for 6 months in a row. eLoad’s organic traffic increase by 2.3% within 9 months.

Within 9 months, we were able to make eload’s top acquisition channel organic search! 75.9% of their overall traffic is from Google search with a bounce rate under 50% and an overall conversion rate of 2.3% from Google search!

Within the last month of our SEO project, eload has ranked for 974 organic keywords with 462 of those keywords bringing in traffic
